Learning about family history, My Grandfather always went by the name Ivin S Hoag. Never knew the S was for Sickles, Thats why he didn't use his middle name. Sickles has a bad rep.

Would love to find out if there is any relation, Ivin Sickles Hoag from the Oranges in NJ and later moved to Bloomingdale NJ Do you have the ancestry line from there?

Just wanted to thank you for the audio interview with James Hessler. Was very enjoyable and I will certainly be purchasing his book. I like the ideas he states he attempts for the book, the balance and allowing the reader to make up his on mind, instead of offering his views as the only interpretation. I look forward to other interviews and to reading his book.
Mr. Hessler, if you read this, I wanted to thank you for the interview and I hope to hear more from you in the future. Dan Sickles has always interested me, for some odd reason, and I look forward to reading your book.
Thanks to both of you for an excellent interview.
